Designed by a Woman Who Understands
Hello, my name is Dianiley Deslandes, and I started Lunessence Care with my sister, Angel. I want to begin by sincerely thanking you for taking the time to read this and for supporting our small business.
Lunessence Care began as something deeply personal. What started as an experiment to help heal myself eventually grew into something much bigger.
When I first got my period, I quickly began experiencing debilitating cramps. In middle school, I would often have to go to the nurse’s office during my cycle and stay there for hours because the pain was so intense. They gave me Tylenol and other stronger medications, but nothing really seemed to help.
In high school, doctors put me on birth control, but my body didn’t respond well. At one point, I was spotting continuously for nearly a year with no end in sight. We then tried the shot, which led to months of constant spotting and cramping every couple of weeks before I decided to stop. Even after that, it took my body a long time to recover.
For years, I lived with severe menstrual pain. During my cycle, the cramps would last for days and were often unbearable. I experienced intense nausea, vomiting, and pain so overwhelming that I would be hunched over, sometimes even blacking out. There were multiple times when the severity of my symptoms sent me to the hospital.
Beyond the physical pain, my cycle left me feeling drained and disconnected from myself. I felt sluggish, unlike myself, and often unable to complete even simple daily tasks. My period began to control my life, I planned events around it and dreaded its arrival days in advance, often unable to function in the days leading up to and during my cycle. Along with the pain came intense mood swings that left me feeling irritable, overwhelmed, and emotionally exhausted.
Living this way felt isolating. It made me realize how deeply menstrual health affects every part of a woman’s life, not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well.
Around the age of 24, I began experimenting with herbal teas to explore how natural ingredients could support my cycle. I carefully studied and combined different herbs, testing various blends until I found something that truly worked.
I started using the tea consistently, and over time, I noticed something significant. By drinking it 7–10 days before my period, I experienced a real shift–not just in my cycle, but in how I felt overall. My period became lighter, my mind felt clearer, and the mental fog I had grown used to began to lift. My cramps became more manageable, and my body felt more balanced.
For the first time in years, I was able to go about my daily life without interruption. I stopped planning my life around my period. Instead of dreading it, I began to feel more in control: grounded, balanced, and deeply connected to my body again.
That discovery became the foundation of what would later grow into Lunessecare.
Lunessecare is about feeling in control of your body, before and during your period. Our tea is designed to support you through every phase of your cycle and every season, helping you feel grounded, balanced, and like yourself. At Lunessence Care, we remain committed to learning, evolving, and continuing to experiment with natural solutions that support women through their menstrual journeys.
So, woman to woman, you don’t have to live this way. There is another way to feel supported, balanced, and whole, starting with honoring your body.
